Beyond the studies of brain tissue and nerve fibers that generally come to mind when thinking of the field of cognitive neuroscience, lies the basic concept research in the field works to understand-how our brain learns.  Findings in the field of cognitive neuroscience are valuable in the classroom, where so much learning takes place each day.  Cognitive research has revealed why some people are so naturally adept at teaching and how those who are striving to teach can improve their instruction and promote learning.  This presentation focuses on research findings that can be helpful for teachers and those who help them by sharing insights and advice courtesy of cognitive neuroscientists who are currently working in the field.
